At Blue House Construction, we are in the people business!

Blue House Construction is a locally owned builder serving downtown Coeur d’Alene and the surrounding North Idaho communities. We specialize in four kinds of projects: large additions, remodels on existing homes, ADUs, and custom homes. We focus on thoughtful work that fits the home and the way you live, with clear communication from first conversation through final walkthrough.

Russell’s experience grew through side jobs such as basement remodels, deck builds, and additions, expanding his education while providing for his family. After receiving his master’s degree in educational leadership, Russell realized that although he loved helping kids in school, his real passion was helping people complete their remodels and additions.

In June 2019, Russell and Hanna launched their contracting business in downtown Coeur d’Alene, where they were both raised. Now raising their four children, with a fifth on the way, they are excited to share their passion for helping people by walking customers through the building process with honesty, clarity, and integrity.
